Ingredients
- 1 bottle tawny port
- 2 tablespoons superfine sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed spice
- 1/2 cup grapefruit juice
- Juice and rind of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 cup water
Directions
- Pour wine into a heavy saucepan and add all ingredients except the raisins and water. Heat gently. Meanwhile, put the raisins into a small saucepan with the water and slowly bring to a boil. Add water with raisins to the hot wine mixture and pour into a metal punch bowl. Serve in 4-ounce glasses.
