1 1/2 ounces Scotch whisky

1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth

2 dashes Angostura bitters

1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar

3 or 4 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and stir well. Strain into a cocktail glass.
