Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 6 cardamom pods
- 3 1/4-inch-thick rounds of peeled fresh ginger
- 2 whole cloves
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cups grapefruit juice
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Stirring as it warms to dissolve the honey, bring the water to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Strain mixture through a fine sieve into another saucepan. Stir in the grapefruit juice and reheat slowly. Serve warm in mugs.
